2016-2017 School Year Enrollment Is Open


We are currently accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year. Enrollment is open through May 15, 2016. Notification of our enrollment decisions and/or waiting list information will be made by June 1. (We will prioritize enrollment based on the age and gender ratios needed to balance our classrooms).

Where We Live

New River Gorge

Children can go to school anywhere. It’s true! We see schools in cities, in suburban neighborhoods, and in rural landscapes and all of them are there to help students learn.

Because learning at the NRGLC goes beyond our walls and extends into the world around us, we love that we get to call the New River Gorge part of our classroom. The combination of beauty, adventure, natural history and social history makes the New River Gorge a living library of so much information and how the different things we encounter and study are connected.
